Perucica Primeval Forest

A tiptoe walk in the heart of the Sutjeska national park, the primeval forest Perucica- one of the best preserved primeval forests of Europe.
The most impressive Perucica experience, giving unique opportunity to feel the forest directly with all your senses. Reaching the core of the forest out of official trails reaching climax below the famous Skakavac waterfall. Tour starts with short transport to the mountain, visiting viewpoints overlooking the forest itself. Afterwards descending into the heart of the Perucica – different world from the rest of the park to reach the waterfall Skakavac 73m tall. Considering the walking off the official trails this experience may be challenging.
Note: The access to the Perucica Forest is restricted. It is possible to visit only if escort by certified guide.
